Leakr

Terms of Service

Last updated: June 4, 2026

These Terms use plain language and should be reviewed periodically by qualified legal counsel as Leakr evolves.

Acceptance

By creating an account or using Leakr, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Leakr.

What Leakr provides

Leakr provides personal finance tracking, budgeting tools, transaction analysis, recurring-charge detection, money leak insights, reports, and related account tools.

Not financial advice

Leakr is not a bank, financial adviser, legal adviser, tax adviser, accountant, investment adviser, credit counselor, lender, or credit repair service. Insights are informational and based on available transaction history and user-entered data. You are responsible for financial decisions you make.

User responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your account secure, providing accurate information, reviewing imported transactions, correcting categories where needed, and using Leakr lawfully.

Bank connection and Plaid

If you connect an account, you authorize Plaid and your financial institution to share supported account and transaction data with Leakr. Imports may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or categorized incorrectly. You can disconnect connected spending in Bank Sync.

Billing and subscriptions

Leakr uses Stripe for web subscription billing. Paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled. You can manage payment methods, invoices, receipts, cancellation, and available billing settings through Stripe Billing Portal from Settings. Plan changes may take effect immediately or at the next billing period depending on Stripe confirmation and portal settings. Subscriptions are generally non-refundable once payment has been processed, except where required by applicable law.

Free, Pro, and Premium

Feature access differs by plan. Free includes limited manual tracking. Pro unlocks the core Money Leaks engine, connected spending, reports, and broader limits. Premium adds advanced guidance such as Financial Clarity Score, safe-to-spend estimates, and deeper prevention insights where enough data exists.

Data accuracy limits

Transaction imports, merchant names, categories, recurring-charge detection, forecasts, and insights may be inaccurate or incomplete. Leakr helps identify patterns worth reviewing; it does not guarantee savings or perfect categorization.

Export and deletion

You can export account data and request/delete your account from Settings. Account deletion may require cancelling active billing first. Some records may be retained where required for tax, accounting, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, backups, or legal obligations.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Leakr, attempt to access another user’s data, bypass subscription restrictions, abuse integrations, upload unlawful data, interfere with service operations, or reverse engineer protected systems.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for misuse, security risk, nonpayment, legal requirements, or material violation of these Terms. You may stop using Leakr or delete your account at any time, subject to billing and legal retention requirements.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leakr is provided as-is and as-available. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, financial decisions, or losses caused by inaccurate or delayed data.

Changes

We may update Leakr, plans, features, pricing, or these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable in-app, email, or website notice where appropriate.
